Welcome to
Equalia
Where the future is ours!

Visit Equalia
In Equalia, everyone is welcome, regardless of what they believe in, who they love and what they identify as.
We hope you enjoy your stay!

Equalia has many things to offer. One of them being an amazing nature, which we've been trying to remain and restore for the past few years. Feel free to take a trip to one of our beautiful rainforests to become one with nature or discover our famous pink lake, Lake Lua. Those who like it busier will defintely love the dynamic atmosphere in our capital Equilano. If you're interested in learning more about our culture feel free to visit one of our many temples.

When preparing your visit please keep in mind that:

Equalia has a humid climate with temperatures above 25 degrees all year long.
So make sure you leave that cozy warm wintercoat at home, you won't need it here!

Our country has it's own currency: QUAL. 1 QUAL equals 0,25 cents so €1 makes 4 QUAL.
You can exchange your currency for free in your own country, our local bank centres or at the touristic services.
Lake Lua

Just like our rainforests, Lake Lua is considered protected nature reserve. The lake has an area of 15 hectares and a width of 250m. Lua stands for magic and refers to the magic lamp that is, according to the myth, at the bottom of the lake. Our local guide, Antonio will tell you all about Amalia and Aqua's tragic love story. Obviously, he will also tell you the scientific reason why the lake's water is pink.
Festival of Hiya
Every year on the 5th of July, we celebrate the birth of Equalia by throwing a colorful festival. During the festival of Hiya, we celebrate our culture and spread love, happiness and peace. Everyone gets on the streets in an all white outfit. People throw colorful powders, which are made of herbs and flowers, at each other. It's always a big celebration and tourists are more than welcome to participate. The festival is free.
